Christopher Guest

Accomplished director, actor, writer, musician and composer, Christopher Guest is highly regarded in comedy circles as one of the best minds in comedy, joining the ensemble cast of Saturday Night Live for the 1984-85 season and is best known for having created a style of comedy film making commonly referred to today as the 'mockumentary' genre.

His early work includes This is Spinal Tap - which he wrote with Rob Reiner, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer. Chris starred in the film and also co-composed the music and wrote the lyrics. His feature directing credits include The Big Picture, staring Kevin Bacon, and the critically acclaimed films Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, For Your Consideration and A Mighty Wind, all of which he wrote and starred in.

Christopher has directed over one hundred commercials and has won over forty awards, including multiple Cannes Gold Lions, Best of Show, The Grand Prix Clio and D&AD awards.
